A controlled process at every step
Quality inspections on seeds to verify lot conformity
We provide:
- Germination capacity tests at every stage,
- Purity and varietal conformity analyses using molecular biology or phenotyping,
- Thorough health analyses in the laboratory,
- Complete traceability of all process steps from field production to shipment to our clients.
Each lot is rigorously inspected to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Recognized Certifications and Processes
Our processes are based on demanding standards, reflecting our professionalism:
- BIO Certification: Our seed production, sorting, storage, and packaging process has been certified by Ecocert since 1998. Since then, regular successful audits confirm our strict adherence to the specific standards and requirements of the Organic Agriculture sector.
- GSPP Certification (Good Seed and Plant Practices): Since July 1, 2011, Gautier Semences has held the GSPP accreditation. This international standard aims to prevent contamination of seed and tomato plant lots by the Clavibacter michiganensis pathogen, ensuring the supply of seeds and plants free from the bacteria. The GSPP label covers the entire process, from selection to marketing of seeds.
- PGRP Initiative: We implement a Phytosanitary Risk Management Plan to ensure perfect sanitary control of all species. This voluntary approach is based on comprehensive risk analysis directly at production sites, allowing us to identify, evaluate, and manage them. It enables compliance with regulatory requirements while enhancing the security of our production chain.
